About Me / Folk Island

Hi, I'm Mimi, the creator of everything Folk Island.

I am Estonian born, grew up in Finland and I am now living in Devon, UK.

I do Paintings, illustrations, jewellery and tapestry/wall hangings inspired by Estonian folklore, Slavic fairytales and Scandinavian Summers.
I aim to capture the beauty around us and create Feel-Good Art only using the sacred female energy.
